Los Angeles Super Serious Mysteriousness

We are currently in Los Angeles. We are working on being super serious, writing serious music, and being super mysterious. We are also hustling like crazy to be rich and famous, because that is what it's all about. We are trying everything. Some of us are turning tricks on the Blvd. hoping to meet bi-curious producers, others are practicing black magic and whispering incantations, while the rest of us are just plane running in circles keeping our fingers crossed and bushwacking beaver. We are so into it and focused that you couldn't get tacks up our asses with a sledgehammer. So come out to a show. It will be the most amazing thing you never understand. We understand it, but that's only because we are so brilliant and amazing.

Shanghai and Seduction

Text Message excerpts from Will after losing touch for two or three days following the bands final date in S.B. "Thick, black smoke. I have seen the glow in the flesh... Lovely vapors seduce me again... Emeralds, gardens, and bliss, Poe was a fool. Come and find us you never will." After further cryptic messages were delivered it is rumored among our camp that two members of Cerro are vowing never to leave again, while the third member is vowing never to vow again. Some will blame Nick Tosches but then again people always like to point the finger.

In unrelated news, Augustus Bonhoffer fell off a whaling ship in the Bering Strait. It is rumored that he had recently grown despondent about the loss of a dear friend. Whether the two are connected we cannot confirm. He will no longer be able to give updates as he is... well, dead. We will miss him dearly and please attend the services if you are able. His mother Magnus would appreciate it so.

Touring the West Coast

Cerro Victoria is currently preparing for another west coast tour. Since returning to Los Angeles in May from their 1st west coast tour, they have been writing and developing new material for their upcoming tour set to begin July 4. The tour starts in Sacramento at the first America Rules Music Festival. For more info regarding this event email info@cerrovictoria.com or elinewtown@yahoo.com. Album and EP out July 4th

Cerro Victoria will also be releasing two works very soon. "Island of the Sun" and the five song self-titled EP, will be available on the website and through select distributors starting July 4. The illustration for "Island of the Sun" was created by Jeff Mann.

Do you like my piece of bad poetry? I do. But enough about me. Welcome to our wonderful website. My name is Augustus Bonhoffer. I am the 'Minister of Information' of sorts. I am responsible for getting the appropriate info to you the music lovers. Updates, shows, news, laughs and perhaps a teaspoon of wisdom here and there. Let's see what has happened. The first album has been finished, the artwork is done and the finished work is now available. We will be playing lots of shows and hammering the sleeping minds of many a person in the upcoming month. This is the first of many communiqués from yours truly.
